چکیده
The effects of rumen buffer agents on ruminal fermentation parameters and bacterial community composition were determined using in vitro vivo experiments three rumen-cannulated, high-concentrate fed Holstein Friesian dairy cows. Experiment 1 treatments included bentonite, calcium carbonate, oxide, sodium bicarbonate, sesquicarbonate, processed coral, unbuffered samples served as the control. 2 based formulation various combinations used 1. Combinations selected for study their buffering ability. Calcium sesquicarbonate stabilized pH improved fermentation. combined had a significant effect pH, capacity, total gas, volatile fatty acids. Firmicutes Bacteroidetes dominant phyla both Ruminococcus Prevotella found to be genera. bromii was predominant treatment group. jejuni more abundant control group compared group, which its abundance very low. flavefaciens Intestinimonas butyriciproducens gradually increased cows received treatment. Overall, diet administered induced adverse changes pH; however, supplementation enhanced characteristics altered community, could contribute preventing acidosis.

A study of rumen microbial community of Baluchi lambs fed a high concentrate diet containing conventional ingredients
Baluchi sheep is the dominant fat-tail breed in Iran. We studied the microbial communities in the rumen of four Baluchi lambs fed a high concentrate conventional diet. Using DNA extracted from the rumen samples, we found the partial ribosomal rRNA of bacterial and archaeal were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The amplicons were sequenced using 454 Titanium pyrosequencing and the d...

متن کاملRumen-derived lipopolysaccharide provoked inflammatory injury in the liver of dairy cows fed a high-concentrate diet
Rumen-derived lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is translocated from the rumen into the bloodstream when subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA) occurs following long-term feeding with a high-concentrate (HC) diet in dairy cows. The objective of this study was to investigate the mechanism of inflammatory responses in the liver caused by HC diet feeding. We found that SARA was induced in dairy cows when rumen p...
متن کاملpH dynamics and bacterial community composition in the rumen of lactating dairy cows.
The influence of pH dynamics on ruminal bacterial community composition was studied in 8 ruminally cannulated Holstein cows fitted with indwelling electrodes that recorded pH at 10-min intervals over a 54-h period. Cows were fed a silage-based total mixed ration supplemented with monensin. Ruminal samples were collected each day just before feeding and at 3 and 6h after feeding. Solid and liqui...
متن کاملEffect of dietary concentrate on rumen fermentation, digestibility, and nitrogen losses in dairy cows.
The objective of this experiment was to investigate the effect of level of dietary concentrate on rumen fermentation, digestibility, and N losses in lactating dairy cows. The experiment was a replicated 3x3 Latin square design with 6 cows and 16-d adaptation periods. Ruminal contents were exchanged between cows at the beginning of each adaptation period. Data for 2 of the diets tested in this e...
